Royal Rumble: Chris Jericho Slams Brock Lesnar In Intense Twitter Rant – Lose The Gut

The first ever WWE Undisputed Champion – CHRIS JERICHO slams Brock Lesnar’s weight on Twitter following last Sunday night’s Royal Rumble

Lesnar retained the Universal Championship against Finn Balor at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona but Jericho wasn’t very impressed with the UFC legend.

Chris tweeted: “Intimidation and fear goes a LONG way in our business guys. But let’s be honest, @BrockLesnar needs to pull up his pants and lose the gut… the dream is over dude. I don’t play by the script… @wwe @AEWrestling.”

Lesnar is one of the biggest attractions in Vince McMahon’s promotion and that is one of the reasons why he makes rare appearances even when he holds a world title.

Chris Jericho

The Universal Champion has only been making non-wrestling appearances on RAW ever since his WWE return from UFC in 2012 and only competes in major Pay-Per-View events like the Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, Survivor Series and WrestleMania.

WWE have been booking him as an intimidating competitor and an unstoppable force but Jericho doesn’t get the hype.

Y2J has signed a three-year contract with the new promotion All Elite Wrestling, which will be run by billionaire Tony Khan.

Professional wrestling superstars Cody Rhodes as well as Matt and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks have been appointed as Executive Vice Presidents.

The six-time world champion believes that more could follow him in AEW as his inclusion adds a lot of important legitimacy to the new promotion.

Jericho said: “By me joining the company I think fans and wrestlers most importantly go, ‘Holy s**t this is real.’

“[Because] If Jericho went there this is real.

“We know them, but your average fan doesn’t.

“Your guy in the WWE making a decent living, but thinks they can do better, now knows, ‘Wow, Jericho can go there I can go there too.’”

Jericho, though, made it clear via another tweet that AEW would only be interested in a few wrestlers from rival promotions like WWE, Impact Wrestling and Ring of Honor.

“Hey @wwe, @ringofhonor & @IMPACTWRESTLING … I love watching you push all your randoms, But just know that we are interested in maybe 6-8 of your talents total. We don’t need you! @AEWrestling.” The ex-WWE Champion added.
